Dodecatron Update
Last night we constructed a small scale mockup of a portion of the structure.
- We learned a few things.
- Sides need to be precise in order for the entire thing to hold shape.
- Making a pentagon at scale may be an issue.
- Larger Pegs are more desirable.
We're investigating ways that we can create a changing mural effect within the installation. Colored wood pegs would be one way but we're also considering filling the inside with paint filled balloons that pop, yarn, acrylic rods, and water bottles with food coloring.
