Tinker Tank w/ the Pacific Science Center
We're working on two installations for this year's Seattle Design Festival Block Party. Our second installation is a collaboration with the Pacific Science Center's Tinker Tank.
Tinker Tank and the Seattle Design Nerds are collaborating to design a gravity wall exhibit that will be displayed at the Seattle Design Festival Block Party and then live on the floor at Pacific Science Center. People can work collaboratively to build paths for marbles to travel and interact along different paths. It will be designed as a cut of tetrahedron with removable panels on the sides. The panels each act as one part of the whole wall so people can design components that fit on an individual panel and add it to the wall to create more intricate paths. The flag on top will act as a launching mechanism to bring balls up and set them off on the different sides.
