MIXTAPES was created for the 2019 Bumbershoot Music & Arts Festival. We wanted to illustrate our collective emotional connections to music and the power that has.
The installation uses 3 large plywood cassette tapes each with a separate title that prompted an emotional state; the audience was prompted to add songs that might fit with that emotional state.

Each tape included a scannable code allowing the audience to listen and follow the ever-growing mixtape on Spotify.
