The Nest - a large interactive inflatable game constructed for the Seattle Design Festival Block Party

Mixtapes - giant audio cassettes made from plywood and chalkboard paint for Bumbershoot

Owls - a series of bird shaped lanterns made from wire and plastic. Each lantern will contain arduino driven interactive lighting.

This week we will primarily be focusing on The Nest and will be doing quite a bit of cutting and sewing.

Design Nerds Meetups are always open to all and we welcome folks to feel free to jump in during the middle of a project.

Our meetings are held in Urban Artworks inside the Inscape Arts Building (815 Seattle Blvd S). Inscape is a controlled access structure, dial 009 at the callbox anytime after 6:50pm and someone will escort you in. Inscape is one block south of the International District Light Rail Station. Paid parking is available in the PFI parking lot off 6th Ave, however it is strongly suggested that you consider mass transit on game nights.
